Rainbow Colors Strips

Very short Tutorial to make Colorful Strips, used for backgrounds.

1. Create a new file of any size, but having same height and width, I’m here taking the file of following size:

2. Creat new layer and fill it with white color.

3. Goto Filter >> Render >> Fibers and apply the following settings:

You will get this effect:

4. Goto Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur and apply the following settings:

you will get this result:

5. Run the command, Layer >> Layer Style >> Gradiend Overlay and give the following settings:

you will get this result:

6. Right click on the layer name and select Convert to Smart Object, dupliate this layer and select Overlay instead of Normal in Layer Panel.

7. Goto Filter >> Other >> High pass, give the following settings:

you will get this result:

8. Select the black background layer and press Ctrl+Shift+E; than resize the merged layer as shown in the picture:

9. Press Ctrl+T (free transform), rotate it to 45 degree and then resize it as:

press Enter.

10. Goto Image >> Adjustments >> Levels and apply this settings:
