  1. The web’s full of places where you can download free fonts if your typography budget’s stretched. In fact, there are so many places, you can end up spending hours trawling through badly-made sites and still come away empty-handed. We’ve done the legwork for you and searched out the best libraries where you can download free fonts that will deliver the goods you need without wasting your time. Hit up the following sites and you’re likely to find the free font you’re after.

Besides the obvious places to download fonts for free, we’ve also unearthed some lesser-known sources – including individual da fonts pro and agency sites. Don’t forget to check our regularly updated list of the best free fonts, and you can make things a little edgier with some free tattoo fonts). One of our favourite font libraries is Da Fonts Pro, which has free as well for options. See the link below to go straight to Da Fonts Pro, for more of the best places to download free fonts.

  2. Just love your article, honestly I have received much knowledge from your article.
In my opinion GRAPHIC DESIGN is a discipline in which people produce graphic art to convey messages. Designers use typography and pictures to satisfy users’ unique desires and rely on the logic of viewing objects of immersive projects to improve the user interface by using graphic hierarchy and page layout techniques.

  3. Yes’ I also want to take it, this is very beneficial for me and my future. Next year I will make a website and I learn to your site how does a web site.

  4. Thank you for sharing , I want more graphic design forum site list based in us….I will be glad if you do that

    1. PixelForums is still a relativitely small forum in comparison to some of the bigger forums listed in this blog post but it’s based in the US nonetheless. We welcome all the new and friendly people we can get.

  5. Hi, I’m become a fairly active design blogger on all things graphic/web design related and have been considering joining a few more forums such as these to help circulate some articles I’ve written. It does sem however that many of these forums (understandably) want you to post your entire entry and not link to your own posts and will block you if you do so, is this the case?

I write posts that are relevant to the industry full of tips and best practices I’ve picked up but obviously want to promote my own site to. Here’s an example post http://www.markseabridge.com/designing-for-outdoor-advertising-what-a-designer-needs-to-know/.

    Would appreciate your thoughts.

  6. Not wanting to miss the chance at unashamedly promoting my own graphic design forum, I’ll add an unofficial number 11 to your list. Head to http://www.d4um.com to check it out.

As for your list, I largely agree. I’d personally recommend GraphicDesignForum.com because of its active community of professional designers. Ironically, it’s not a particularly well-designed forum, but it’s well moderated, lively and nicely maintained.

I’d also reluctantly remove the HOW forum from the list. It used to be a great place to discuss design, but it’s pretty much been overrun by spammers selling golf clubs and cheap Chinese knock-off purses. Maybe HOW needs someone to teach them HOW to run a forum.

I might also point out that several of the forums listed are geared around building and marketing websites, so they’re not strictly design sites, and tend to be frequented by non-designers.
