How to make 3D Text in Photoshop
Its quite interesting to make 3D Text in Photoshop, or you want to make the depth of anything, then this tutorial will help you a lot. Very simple technique, I’ll be using Text in this tutorial.
You can use this technique to make Underwater 3D Text effect in Photoshop.
1. Take any empty file and then Write your desire text on it. It should be written using Horizontal/Vertical Type Tool 
. Now open layer panel by pressing F7 key and right click on the name of Text Layer and then select Rasterize layer.
2. Press Ctrl+T (Transform) and then right click anywhere in the document and then select Perspective. Now hold any corner and move it, unless it becomes your desire shape, then hit <Enter> key.
3. Suppose you want to give its depth towards left side, then hold Alt key and the press Left arrow, as many time as much you want to give its depth. Here I pressed 10 times. (For other directions please use relevant Arrow keys by holding Alt key).
4. Now in Layer Panel, select all new copied layers and left the original one. (In Photoshop CS (in layer panel) select upper most layer and then hold Shift key and click on the lower layer, leaving the original and in Older Versions link all layers by clicking on the empty boxes towards the left side of Layer names in Layer panels). Now press Ctrl+E, all layers will be merged.
5. In layer panel click on Lock Transparent Pixels, 
, chose any color from Foreground Color palette (which you want to give to Depth) and then press Alt+Backspace to fill it. Here I used Gray.
6. Now press ‘Ctrl+{‘ key to take it beneath of the previous layer.
7. You can use Dodge, Burn etc. tools to make it stylish. Here is the final look, Enjoy!!!

but how do you do miror in your text in step7????
how do you do step 7 can you explain that better when i fill the text im not able to flip so the fill shows in back.
