In this Tutorial we are going to prepare a Brown Toolbox in Photoshop. Very nice tutorial, as it will be having some new techniques to learn. Some Layer Styles, tools like Rounded Rectangle tool, Rectangle Tool, Marquee Selection tool, Ellipse tool, etc. are involved making this tutorial. Hope you will like to make.
Here is the Final Result of Toolbox in Photoshop, we are going to work on it:
Step 1:
Letโs start out by creating a new file. I used a 400ร400 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with #131313 color shade. Now make a new layer set and name it ‘Tool Box‘. In a new layer, draw a dark yellow rounded rectangle (by using Rounded Rectangle Tool) with #BE9C05 color shade and 136 x 85 px dimensions.
Step 2:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Satin, and Gradient Overlay blending options to the dark yellow rounded rectangle layer.
Result:
Step 3:
In a new layer, draw a white rounded rectangle with 130 x 28 px dimensions.
Step 4:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow, and Gradient Overlay blending options to your white rounded rectangle layer. Then set the layer’s blending mode to Darken.
Result:
Step 5:
In a new layer, draw a thin horizontal rounded rectangle with #BE9C05 color shade and 150 x 23 px dimensions.
Step 6:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Satin, and Gradient Overlay blending options to the thin horizontal rounded rectangle layer.
Result:
Step 7:
In a new layer, draw a black rounded rectangle with 136 x 40 px dimensions just below the thin horizontal rounded rectangle. Then cut the top corners of the black rounded rectangle so its straight.
Step 8:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, and Gradient Overlay blending options to the cut out black rounded rectangle layer. Then set the layer’s blending mode to Lighten.

Step 9:
In a new layer, draw a white circle with #F7EEEF color shade and 29 x 29 px dimensions.
Step 10:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Outer Glow, Inner Glow, Gradient Overlay, and Stroke blending options to the white circle layer.
Result:
Step 11:
In a new layer, draw three small white circles inside the first white circle design.
Step 12:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay, and Stroke blending options to your three small white circles layer.

Step 13:
In a new layer, draw a small white vertical rounded rectangle inside the white circle design.
Step 14:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay, and Stroke blending options to your small vertical rounded rectangle layer.

Step 15:
In a new layer, draw a thin horizontal rectangle with #575757 color shade and 58 x 7 px dimensions above the brown tool box design.
Step 16:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, and Gradient Overlay blending options to the thin horizontal rectangle layer.

Step 17:
In a new layer, draw a small gray rectangle with #C3C3C3 color shade and 14 x 8 px dimensions.
Step 18:
Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Satin, and Gradient Overlay blending options to your small gray rectangle layer.
Result:
Step 19:
Duplicate the small gray rectangle design layer three times then place them as shown below.
Step 20:
Merge down your ‘Tool Box‘ layer set through Layer > Merge Layer Set. Then under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow blending option.
