Metal Structure Text Effect in Photoshop

Another Photoshop Tutorial for you, this time we have prepared Photoshop Text Effect Tutorial, today we are going to make a Metal Structure Text effect in Photoshop. Very short and easy tutorial, as usual some Tools and Commands to use in this Photoshop Tutorial. Enjoy working on this tutorial so you will learn some basic Technique in Photoshop.

Here is what we are going to give the Effect:

Step 1:

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 1400×800 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with Black. Now select the Horizontal Type Tool, then set the font family to Arial, Bold Italic, 90 pt, Strong and #818181 color shade. In a new text layer, type your text (e.g. Stunningmesh).

Step 2:

Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, and Gradient Overlay blending options to your text layer.

Step 3:

In a new text layer type your text again and position as shown below.

Step 4:

Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, and Gradient Overlay blending options to your second text layer.

Result:

Step 5:

Make a new layer set and name it ‘Screw‘. In a new layer, draw a small white circle with 5 x 5 px dimensions on one of your letters.

Step 6:

Under Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style) add an Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, and Gradient Overlay blending options to your second text layer.

Step 7:

Now add more screw design on the rest of your text.
